Check-in: When you arrive at our center we ask that you check-in at the registration desk to verify personal and insurance information, complete your registration paperwork, identify your responsible adult or escort and their phone number, and pay any applicable copays, deductibles or other financial obligations.
Following Admission: After checking in at our center, you will be brought to the pre-op area where the nurse will review your history, have you sign your consents and prepare you for surgery. An anesthesiologist will discuss your anesthesia plan with you and answer any questions. Once your are prepared for surgery, your family or escort may wait with you until it is time for your surgery if space and time allow. At the appropriate time you will be escorted to the operating room. During surgery, your escort may stay in a waiting area or leave a number where they can be reached and will rejoin you in the second phase recovery area after your surgery.
